Volunteer

It takes a village, so become a part of ours.

Our ability to reach the children of our community is directly impacted by how much outreach we can do, so join us. We welcome volunteers of all ages and skillsets.

Who can become a volunteer?

The San Gabriel Valley Foundation for Dental Health appreciates volunteers of all ages. There are many opportunities for individuals and groups at events, health fairs, and more. And if you're a student—dental school, middle school, high school, college, graduate program—then we have volunteering opportunities for you as well!

Ways you can get involved.

Projects for volunteering include assisting in the dental clinic, teaching children about oral health and nutrition, educating the community, and helping with special events. We will match you with the right opportunity!

“Since I was little, my mother taught me to be compassionate and to share with those in need. Therefore, I would always only open the birthday presents that I really wanted, and I have been giving away the majority of my presents to children in disadvantaged communities for many years.

When I was first introduced to the San Gabriel Valley Foundation for Dental Health, I was deeply inspired by co-founder Dr. Stu Rubin’s vibrant life philosophy and his commitment to serve the community along with the always-positive attitudes of the clinic staff. It’s a rewarding experience to help others in need, and this organization gave me the opportunity to give back to the community.”
