Support for communities comes from the community.
Our Outreach Education Program is here to collaborate with your community organization—by providing dental education, screenings, toothbrushes, a low-cost, high-quality dental home, and much more to your clients.
Who can become an outreach partner?
We partner with a variety of community organizations that provide services to families and individuals in need. Let’s work together to provide as many resources as possible to your clients!
Are you a school nurse looking to provide dental screenings for your students? We’ll come to your school (or, if school is not in-person, your students can come to our clinic) and provide dental screenings, education, and toothbrushes to your students.
Do you run a homeless shelter? Let us provide you with educational materials and toothbrushes for your clients. Or better yet, let’s plan a day when all of your clients come to our clinic together to receive treatment.
Do you oversee an early-learning program? We can offer dental education presentations (online or in-person, depending on what’s appropriate), toothbrushes, educational materials, and screenings to your clients.
Are you in charge of a food distribution program? We would love to provide educational flyers and toothbrushes for your participants!
Ways your organization can help
Collaborate on outreach efforts.
Are you having an outreach event—health fair, food distribution, etc.? Allow the San Gabriel Valley Foundation for Dental Health to provide the dental component to your event.
Do you have individuals in need of dental care?
Refer them to our clinic! We are accepting new patients, and we would be very happy to be the dental home for your clients.
Volunteers!
We are always in need of volunteers - in the clinic, for our Outreach Program, and on our Board of Directors. Send them our way and we’ll put them to work!
